Reclaimed & Reimagined | Gilles Cenazandotti 2017
Aug 25 – Aug 27, 2017

RECLAIMED & REIMAGINED | Creating Equilibrium with Gilles Cenazandotti

Join us in The Village at Squaw Valley (August 25-27) for a first-of-its-kind event focused on generating environmentally impactful innovations in a progressive space. This three-day uprising — a radical solutions forum, immersive laboratory, and music festival—features some of the top minds on the planet aimed at crafting and funding real-world solutions to dire ecological challenges.

Environmental artist and activist Gilles Cenazandotti creates artwork by harvesting petroleum based products found directly from Mediterranean shores. Each sculpture and collage is formed by his preservation of found items. The artist is impressed by all that the sea rejects and transforms. In turn, Cenazandotti gives them new life. The artist and his artwork will be a part of Creating Equilibrium's festival with the exhibition Reclaimed & Reimagined, sponsored in part by Contessa Gallery and Tahoe Public Art. Cenazandotti will also join a panel of artists and athletes for the Creating Equilibrium conference.
