BIOGRAPHY
B. 1941 -
Artisans have been blowing glass into metal forms for two thousand years, and the art created by David Bennett pushed this technique to new limits. By combining glass and metal forms, Bennet creates sculptural pieces that could not be done in either medium alone. The created effect of merging these two forms allow the artist to create figures that are lighter and wilder in their motions, as well as significantly more intricate in overall composition.
